The Snowboard DECL (Division Education and Clinic Leader) team is a group of highly trained instructors who are responsible for running the various Snowboard clinics and assessments that the Division offers.

Biography
How did you get your start in this career field? I loved lessons as a kid and thought being an instructor would be cool! So I pursued it.
What inspired you to pursue the career you have today? Friends and mentors.
What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t yet? eFoil electric surfing – it seems perfect for land locked mountain folk!
What surprised you most about working in this industry? How nerdy instructing can be! It’s so cool.
What lesson are you most grateful for learning? I was quite shy and my public speaking was terrible when I first started teaching. Now I have more confidence and am much better at talking to groups of people (and am still trying to improve).
