The Alpine DECL (Division Education and Clinic Leader) team is a group of highly trained instructors who are responsible for running the various Alpine clinics and assessments that the Division offers.

Molly Broom
Biography
How did you get your start in this career field? I started teaching skiing after graduating from college and moving to Jackson, Wyoming. I thought I’d try it our for a season but the community and joy of the job kept me coming back.
What inspired you to pursue the career you have today? I was inspired by my mentors in the field that helped who showed me the career path in snow sports and the opportunities in the field. And of course by all of the folks I’ve skied with over the years and always remind me that skiing is fun and that I have the best job in the world.
What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t yet? Pow skiing in Japan!
What surprised you most about working in this industry? The community
What lesson are you most grateful for learning? I love trying new things and being a beginner- it’s such a good reminder to always push out of the comfort zone and remember what people are going through when they try skiing for the first time.
