We hope you will be there to kick this season off in style, December 15-16. This year we will offer clinics in most disciplines, so check out the offerings and get a head start of the season!
Adaptive Introduction (Sunday only): Explore all of the adaptive skiing disciplines. You will learn about the various type of adaptive equipment, as well as the teaching techniques we use with our adaptive athletes.
Alpine 2 Days, 1 Coach: Spend two days with the same group and coach. You will receive in-depth personal ski improvement coaching. It’s a great way to begin your year!
Alpine High Edge Angles: Be ready to carve! Explore in depth: What is carving, how do you do it more accurately, and efficiently? Here’s a hint: it has something to do with edge angle and how you make them with your body.
Alpine Talkin’ Tasks: Actually, you will be skiing tasks. If you are on the certification pathway, this group will help increase your familiarity with the tasks of your choice. Discover the details that define Highlighted, Applied and Blended tasks and keys to performing them.
Alpine Movement Analysis Improvement: We all put a ton of time into our own ski improvement, but how often you train your movement analysis skills? This is your opportunity to do just that. Learn to look for relevant movement patterns and get feedback on the on the accuracy of your analysis.
Alpine Level 3 Advanced Education Series: Are you a Level 3 instructor wanting to get some skill targeted ski improvement? This is the group for you. We will share highlights from our DECL team training and provide coaching based on those themes.
Alpine Mountain Masters: Seniors only here! Get together with long-time friends and hopefully make some new ones as you enjoy the things that brought you into this profession: good company and a good time!
(CS) Kids Like To Move: Tools to help you develop fun and effective lesson plans: Ever wonder why some lesson plans work for some kids and not others? Discover how CAP, PDAS and other tools can help you develop fun, safe and effective lesson plans. This interactive clinic will be shaped by participants’ questions. Don’t expect to stand around and talk; kids like to move! All disciplines are welcome.
Snowboard Tactics and Techniques for Entering and Exiting the Fall Line on Steeper Terrain (Saturday only): How does the current turn effect the next turn? We will explore tactics and techniques with strategies for pressure management on steeper terrain.
Snowboard Performance Carving (Saturday only): Performance Carving is an expression of style and technique. Explore the relationships between board performance, body movements and body position to build more dynamic carving.
