Run for the Board

Remember to get your Board application in by February 15, 2021. The IMD Board of Directors seeks a variety of professional expertise including across disciplines, cultural backgrounds, spectrum of life experience and geographic reach.

There are three at-large seats available, along with seats for Region 3 (Ogden Nordic, Nordic Valley, Powder Mountain, Snowbasin, and Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports) and Region 4 (Eagle Point and Brian Head). Scholarship Deadline

Did you know that IM provides scholarships to support your pursuit of certification. scholarship deadlines are coming up, so apply soon:
Intermountain Members can apply for:
- The Intermountain scholarship to cover the cost of a clinic.
- The Mark Nakada Memorial Scholarship to cover Children's Specialist education.

The deadline is January 24, 2022 and details can be found here.

Women's Summit Local

February 14: Ski/Ride at Snowbird or Jackson Hole

Snowbird and Jackson are hosting the Wandering Women's Summit local clinics again this season.

On February 14, there are certification and big mountain clinics for skiers and riders. We are also looking forward to another virtual summit between January 26 and February 9.

The main event will be at Stowe, VT between February 27 and March 2.

Member School Shout Out

Powder Mountain receives National Scholarship

Powder Mountain has been awarded a National Small Snowsports School Scholarship for certification preparation clinics to attract, cultivate, and retain new, young and diverse instructors.

These scholarships provide small PSIA-AASI member schools across the country with access to educational events and education leaders who provide experiences that may be career-changing. We are so proud of Powder Mountain's commitment to education and for earning this recognition!
