RIP Friend and Mentor

With sad hearts, we would like to inform you of the passing of Mark Nakada in May. Mark was a Board Member, the Children's Discipline Manager, and a National CS Task Force member. He was dedicated to working across divisions to standardize the Children's National Standards, and he was a devoted friend of IMD. Mark was passionate and charming; he would be the first to lend a hand when needed. We will miss his huge smile and contagious laugh.

IMD will host a Celebration of Mark’s Life on Friday, June 11 at 11:00am at the Deer Valley Gazebo (park in Lot 5 and walk around the pond). All are welcome to attend. In addition, donations to the new Mark Nakada Memorial Scholarship for Children’s Specialist education can be made online or sent to our office.
