Run for the Board

Remember to get your Board application in by Feb 15, 2021. The Intermountain Board of Directors seeks a variety of professional expertise including across disciplines, cultural backgrounds, spectrum of life experience, and geographic reach.

There are two at large seats available along with seats for Region 1 (Jackson, Grand Targhee, Snow King, 22 Nordic, and EcoTour Adventures), Region 6 (Solitude, Brighton, Sundance, and Soldier Hollow), and Region 7 (Alta, Snowbird, and Wasatch Adaptive Sports). Women's Summit

The Women’s Summit is both virtual and local this year. There are inspirational keynotes with Judy Foudy, Women’s Soccer Hall of Fame inductee, and Devin Logan, Olympic Silver Medalist, along with live, online educational sessions.

Women's Summit Remix - Snowbird and Jackson Hole

Snowbird and Jackson are hosting the Wandering Women’s Summit local clinics in conjunction with the virtual event this season. We were all looking forward to Stowe, VT, but are happy to revisit the site of last season’s fun as the Women’s Summit goes regional due to COVID-19. Thank you, Snowbird, for your dedicated support of the women of PSIA-AASI! And to Jackson for jumping in.

There are still a few spaces left in the Wandering Women’s Summit certification events for riders and skiers - February 5 at Snowbird and February 8 at Jackson, so sign up ASAP!

Webinar Block 3 Calendar

A webinar is a great way to continue your professional development from home. New offerings will be posted next week for January & February. If you missed Coaching Cues, What’s My Score, or Biomechanics, you have more opportunities to register. There will also be new topics in multiple disciplines. Check out Adaptive Snowboard Fundamentals, Snowboard National Standards, and more!

Scholarship Deadline

IMD provides scholarships to support your pursuit of certification. The deadline to apply for a scholarship to cover the cost of a clinic is approaching.
