2019 Hall of Fame
The Intermountain Division inducted two members into the Hall of Fame this year. They were recognized in Sun Valley, and their plaques have been installed
at the Alf Engen Museum.
Sal Raio began his career in 1963 at Rebel Ridge Ski Area in Southern California and was certified by PSIA-I while working at Snowbird,
where he eventually became the Ski School Supervisor. He then worked at Deer Valley as Director of Skier Services until 2002.
Over the years, Sal was involved in coaching, certification and training programs for PSIA and PSIA-I. He served as Dean of the PSIA National Academy held at Snowbird,
was Head Coach and Clinic Organizer for PSIA-I Technical and Clinic Teams, served on the PSIA-I Board of Directors,
served as Clinic Chairman and was a Certification Examiner. He authored several technical ski articles for PSIA-I and National Ski publications.
Sal is now a Lifetime Member of PSIA. We are proud to honor Sal by inducting him into the Intermountain Hall of Fame.

Member School Shout Out
Snowbird Hosts Women's Summit
We are happy to announce that Snowbird will host the National Women's Summit in March 2020.
This is the first time that our division has hosted the Women's Summit and we are thrilled to partner with Snowbird and with the National Ski Patrol
to provide great educational opportunities, mentoring, and leadership growth to women across the country.
Last season, the event was a huge success in Steamboat Springs and this time around we are extending the days on snow as well as the off-snow offerings.
Look for more details over the summer and sign up before it sells out.

Renewal is now available online. Please remember that dues must be paid by June 30, 2019 in order to avoid a late fee.
Bookstore
Our online bookstore is now
available here. You are always welcome to come to the office to purchase books,
or buy them at certain IMD events. Please check the office hours before coming to the office bookstore.
Summer Office Hours
Over the summer, you can reach us on the phone Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. We will have limited office hours in June, so please check the website before you plan a visit to the office.
