Intermountain has a New Executive Director

The Intermountain Board of Directors has named Kirstie Rosenfield as our new Executive Director. This is an exciting development for our division, giving us strong leadership, long-term development and a more active role in PSIA-AASI at the National level. All eight divisions now have directors who are working together to strengthen our organization through collaboration, communication and cooperation.

Kirstie will be the face of PSIA-AASI Intermountain and its key promoter. She is an L2 certified ski instructor and has an extensive background in non-profit management. If you haven't met her already, look out for her at one of our events next season and let her know what PSIA-AASI can do for you.

Member School Shout Outs

Higher Ground and Wasatch Adaptive join PSIA/AASI Intermountain

This is an exciting time for Adaptive Snowsports in the Intermountain Division. We are thrilled to welcome Higher Ground, based at Sun Valley, and Wasatch Adaptive Sports, based at Snowbird, to the Intermountain member school family. According to Elizabeth Jahp of Wasatch Adaptive, "one of our motivations for becoming a member school is to help represent the adaptive skiing voice in the Intermountain region." She is looking forward to interacting with other schools and programs in the division. Jeff Burley of Higher Ground is excited about the opportunities to expand our events further north, and our options for Adaptive instructors. Both schools have already been working with Discipline Manager Jason Malczyk on events in our division. Expect great things from the Adaptive Discipline in the upcoming seasons!
