Freestyle Certification
The Intermountain Division offers Freestyle Certificates (FS1 and FS2) for members looking for training and verification in freestyle skiing and riding. These are multi-discipline certificates open to both alpine skiers and snowboarders. These programs are based on the PSIA-AASI Freestyle National Standards.
Completion of the Freestyle e-learning in your primary discipline (snowboard or alpine) is required for both FS1 and FS2 certifications.
You must have an Alpine or Snowboard Level 1 certification to be eligible to take the Freestyle 1 assessment.
You must have an Alpine or Snowboard Level 2 certification or an FS1 certificate to be eligible to take the Freestyle 2 assessment.
FS 1: A two-day assessment based on the FS1 National Standards and fundamental skills. Prerequisites:

- Must have FS1 or Level 2 in primary discipline.
- Must have attended a FS2 Exam Prep clinic or Freestyle Camp
